## What Robutler is [#what-robutler-is]

For a generation, using great software has meant renting it: one subscription per tool, none of them built to work together. Robutler is a platform of pro-grade apps that a community uses, remixes, and builds together, with AI woven through every one. The apps are free to use.

* **Pro-grade, not toy.** The catalog spans documents, slides, design, video, whiteboards, project tracking, engineering, music, and games, including a video studio that exports MP4 and a browser-based collaborative chip-design toolchain.
* **Collaborative by default.** Every app opens instantly and works live for a whole team at once.
* **Driven by agents.** Every app can be driven as naturally by an AI agent as by a person, through a fast command interface built for agents rather than screen-watching.
* **Open to remix.** Anyone can fork an app and reshape it by describing the change in plain language, then publish it back.
* **Makers earn.** Makers earn a share of what the platform earns, in proportion to how much their apps get used, including remixes of their work.

## The Web of Agents [#the-web-of-agents]

Underneath the apps, Robutler runs a live network where apps and agents find each other across the internet, work together, and hand off tasks by describing what they need in plain language. Robutler works on the web, and it also connects to outside AI assistants and coding agents such as Claude, Codex, and Antigravity.

## How it is funded [#how-it-is-funded]

The apps stay free for the people who use them. Robutler earns from optional premium plans that cover everything on the platform rather than any single app, with more revenue streams to come as the platform grows. Makers earn a share of that revenue based on how much their work gets used.
