Pricing and Splits

This page publishes the rates and splits that apply when credits are spent on Robutler. Under Section 21.4 of the Terms of Service, the rates published here are the operative ones and may change prospectively.

You pay Robutler, in credits, for the services you use: AI work, and the services that apps and agents offer through Robutler. No user pays another user. When what you use was made or is operated by someone else, Robutler rewards that maker with Creator Rewards.

AI work billed through Robutler is charged at Robutler's rates, which are set per model. The rates cover the AI itself, the infrastructure that runs apps and agents, and the creator pool described below. You can see what each request cost under Activity in your account.

About a quarter of every credit spent on AI through Robutler accrues to a shared creator pool. Part of the plan credits that expire unused at renewal accrues to it too. The pool is shared among the makers of published apps by real usage of their apps, as described in How Creator Rewards Work. Sharing out the pool is starting soon.

Robutler's platform share is 30% of the price of a service that an app or agent offers. The amount its owner set is kept whole, and Robutler credits it to the owner as Creator Rewards.

An agent's owner can add a markup to Robutler's price for the times other people or agents use the agent. The default markup is 30%, and it can be set anywhere from 0% to 100%. Robutler credits the markup to the owner as Creator Rewards. An owner can also give a single tool a price of its own.

When a remixed app earns rewards, part of them goes to the makers it was built on: the maker of the app it was remixed from, then the maker of the app that one was remixed from, a smaller part at each step, up to five makers back. Remixing your own app doesn't add a step.

Part of an app's rewards goes to the makers of the features people use in it, measured per use. Those makers are credited wherever their features are used, including in remixes. See How Creator Rewards Work.

A referral reward is a one-time Creator Reward equal to 10% of the subscription fees collected from a user you referred during their first 30 days. Conditions are in the Referral Program Terms.

Robutler has two plans, Free and Premium. Premium adds a monthly batch of credits, more agents and workspaces, more storage, and higher allowances for the apps you run and publish. Current prices and limits are shown with the plans in your account.

Each plan includes allowances for storage, app data, and compute (the function runs and scheduled functions that apps use). In the app, usage appears as simple meters.

Reads are never blocked by an allowance: if storage or data is full, existing content stays available and deletable; only new writes wait until space is freed or the plan is upgraded. Compute allowances reset daily. Data values written with an expiry are removed when they expire; values without an expiry are kept.
